The board is available to assist the Yard Doctor in making the best decisions to impact you our customers. We seek to increase our knowledge and skill set to ensure that we are providing you with the best service possible. The following individuals make sure that can happen.
Lem Turner
Founder & CEO
Lem started the Yard Doctor over 20 years ago. He has since turned it into a family business that will live for generations to come. He is a strong believer in our mission and seeks to guide us daily as we learn and grow. His knowledge in agricultural maintenance allows him to lead the Yard Doctor to ultimate success. He continues his studies to stay up to date with the latest advancements in the industry. He is proud graduate of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
Pastor Cornelius Atkinson
Board of Advisors
Pastor Atkinson is the Senior Pastor of Wilson Heights First Church of God in Charlotte, NC. He serves on our Board of Advisors, guiding us in walk with God's word. Pastor Atkinson earned a Bachelor Degree in Religion and Philosophy from Shaw University and continued his Master of Divinity work at Shaw University Divinity School. His presence in the community is an asset for our team.
Colleta Bryce
Board of Advisors
In December 2016, Colletta joined Cox Automotive as a Senior Director. She earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the Broadcasting School and her Master of Science degree in Organizational Change and Leadership from Pfeiffer University. Colletta brings a wealth of knowledge about business practices to the Yard Doctor. Her unique interactions in human development make her a prize to have on any team.
Angus Jenkins
Board of Advisors
Angus has over 30 years of experience in Project and Construction Management. As a Capital Projects Manager, he oversees the capital expansion of Fluor's multibillion-dollar module fabrication yard located in China. His exposure to environmental safety standards and large project business management provides enhanced practices for the Yard Doctor. His addition to the board increases our overall value.
Daniel Levine
Board of Advisors
Daniel Levine is the president of Levine Properties in Charlotte, NC. Having a special understanding of family business, Daniel is a guiding light. His connection to NXT|CLT provided an opportunity for him to share his knowledge on growing a successful business. We are pleased to have him as a supportive force for the Yard Doctor.
Frank Toliver
Board of Advisors
Frank Toliver is a retired Associate Dean for Finance and Administration from North Carolina Central University. He has a background in finance that he uses to help others make financially secure business decisions. Frank has been a great ally to the Yard Doctor and seeks to help the organization grow. His connections and expertise are a benefit to have on our team.
